! We strongly recommend to save your private keys before creating a backup.
A backup includes all private keys and public keys (addresses), associated with your Guarda Wallet. Every time a change in your wallet occurs, a new backup is created. Such changes include:
- You’ve change the name of a coin
- You’ve imported or created a new currency into the wallet
- You’ve deleted one of the currencies from the wallet
After any of those operations you should save a backup of your wallet once again. Backup is essentially a passphrase. Please note that as we do not store or have any access to this kind of data, we wouldn’t be able to restore it. That’s why we ask you to keep it in a safe place.
*We encrypt all your data with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).
